Private collection Preserved in excellent condition Secured shipping Chateau Clinet is one of the oldest vineyards in Pomerol. It is one of the few Pomerol properties with a large percentage, (Large for Pomerol) of Cabernet Sauvignon in their vineyards. Medium-bodied and moving to the bright, sharp side, I suspect this has moved toward its long, slow decline. There is still plenty of red cherries, truffle and very dark cocoa, yet the wine seems to have lost its round, sensuality and its now more crisp. If you are sitting on any, you should be drinking sooner than later, before you lose more of its fruit.
