It is a bright and crisp sheet with full, original embossing, as attested to by PMG's comment "Great Embossing." This sheet is unique for this Friedberg number, with no others rumored to exist, even in museums or government collections. It is one of the five unique Speelman-White uncut sheets offered tonight and carries the same provenance as its counterparts: to the Treasury Department in 1923; H. V. Speelman; Wayte Raymond; Col. E. H. R. Green; F. C. C. Boyd; John J. Ford, Jr.; Oscar G. Schilke; Ben Levin; Stanley Kesselman; Herman Halpern; then into the custody of our consignor in 1993.
