2002 Jaguar XKR, Supercharged, 3996cc. Registration number YD02 WFM. VIN number SAJAC41N42PA28847.
Sold with the V5C, MOT until June 2026, two keys plus green key, service handbooks, comprehensive receipted history, 77,000 miles.
Jaguar refreshed the entire XK lineup in 2002, and along with the XK8, it also improved the XKR coupe and convertible, upgrading their performance and features.
While the styling imagined by Sir Ian Callum was difficult to improve without spoiling it, the interior and the drivetrain could. Thanks to financial support from Ford, Jaguar worked on the six-year-old XKR and introduced some upgrades to it. In 2002, it launched the facelifted version installing the metallic mesh grille on the oval gap in the bumper that allowed the air to cool and feed the air to the engine. Other subtle changes were new five-spoke alloy wheels, wider at the back, larger, cross-drilled front and rear callipers, beefier boot spoiler. The interior was upgraded and the most important change was the supercharged 4.2-litre V8 that produced 400 hp and paired it with a new six-speed automatic gearbox.
WFM, in Pacific Blue with Ivory leather interior, is a three owner car that has been cherished, six Jaguar main dealer/specialist stamps in the book, all of the handbooks are present. The second owner purchased it in 2006 at 38,950 miles, invoice on file, the third bought it from these rooms in 2025 but has not used it much.
From this time on there is a detailed list, with receipts for all works undertaken, Racing Green catback stainless steel exhaust (sounds very good), Arden cosmetic enhancements, suspension/polybush overhaul, rear quarter panels, rear subframe, rear sills, rear floor and battery tray and full respray 2017, Quaife differential 2018, air con overhaul 2024. Every MOT certificate is present, current expires June 2027.
The cataloguer has a 2002 XKR convertible and can highly recommend this car.
