Immatriculée neuve au nom de Daimler Chrysler France, la carte grise de cette Smart Crossblade a accompagné le 6 octobre 2010 le changement de nom du constructeur pour être établie à celui de Mercedes-Benz France. Cette voiture est en bon état général, avec une carrosserie bicolore noir et gris bien préservée. A l'intérieur, les sièges sont en tissu imperméable rouge et noir, cette même teinte rouge étant rappelée au tableau de bord. Celui-ci présente quelques légères traces. Le compteur affiche 11 076 km et, en septembre 2017, la voiture vient de bénéficier d'une révision chez le constructeur.
Lancée en 2002 dans l'attente du roadster, la version Crossblade était limitée à 2 000 exemplaires, dont 50 réservés au marché français. Elle ne ressemblait à rien de ce qui circulait alors sur les routes, prenant résolument la voie de l'originalité : pas de pare-brise, pas de portes, pas de toit, et même pas de capote ! Ce qui n'empêchait pas la Crossblade d'être chère, le constructeur jouant la carte de l'exclusivité. Tout était fait pour le plaisir, le petit moteur de 71 ch permettant une amusante vivacité. "Les sensations de conduite cumulent la sécurité des quatre roues et la liberté d'une moto," affirmait Option Auto.
Rare à cause de sa production limitée, cette Crossblade a l'avantage d'un faible kilométrage et d'une provenance exceptionnelle.

Registered new in the name of Daimler Chrysler France, this Smart Crossblade's registration shows the constructor's name changing to Mercedes-Benz France on 6 October 2010. This car is in good overall condition, with well-presented black and grey bodywork. The seats are upholstered in red and black waterproof fabric, and the same red appears on the dashboard, which has a few light scratches. The odometer shows a mileage of just 11 076 km and in September 2017, the car underwent maintainance by the manufacturer.
Launched in 2002, in anticipation of the roadster, the Crossblade version was limited to 2000 examples, with 50 of these reserved for the French market. It had a totally original look, unlike anything else on the road, with no windscreen, no doors, no roof and not even a hood ! This did not prevent the Crossblade from being expensive, with the manufacturer accentuating its exclusivity. Everything was geared towards enjoyment, including the compact 71 bhp engine that demonstrated a surprising liveliness. Produced in limited numbers, this Crossblade is rare and has the added advantage of an exceptional provenance and low mileage.
