2006 Clos-Saint-Denis Grand cru - Domaine Heresztyn - Burgundy - 6 Bottle (0.75L)
Domaine Heresztyn in Gevrey-Chambertin was founded in 1959 by Jan Heresztyn, a Polish farmer who emigrated to France during the crisis of 1932. His sons Stanislas and Bernard Heresztyn and their resp. women Eva and Chantal lead the company, which has become more and more prominent in the Burgundy top in recent years. The succession is ensured in the form of Florence Heresztyn and her fiancé Simon Mazzini. Florence is increasingly taking the lead, resulting in a place in the top of Gevrey-Chambertin. The wines of the last vintages are elegant and diverse, with a lot of fruit definition, a crisp balance and admirable soft tannins. Vineyards Domaine Heresztyn has 11 hectares of their own vineyards.
