Some 138 years later, his name has been lost to the ages for most. He was a New York politician who served as the state's fourteenth Governor, U.S. Senator, and Congressman. He passed away in 1847 at he age of 52. This attractive note is printed in gold, red, and black. The vibrant gold-orange back features a magnificent eagle and flag vignette. This Friedberg number does not have any example graded higher than Extremely Fine 45, with the Track & Price census enumerating only 33 notes in all grades. An attractive large size type note that will enhance any collection, this example last sold for $6,600 in 2018 and should test that level once again.
