2013 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autos Red Refractors Carlos Correa RC 2/5 #BCP-CC BGS 9 Auto 10
Before Carlos Correa became an All-Star, Platinum Glove winner, and World Series champion, he was the No. 1 overall selection in the 2012 MLB Draft and one of baseball's most closely watched prospects. Bowman Chrome Prospect Autographs have long served as the hobby's defining early cards for elite baseball prospects, and few parallels carry more weight than the Red Refractor, with this Correa limited to an extraordinary five copies. Numbered 2/5, the card combines Correa's early signature with one of Bowman Chrome's most recognizable colors and a microscopic print run. The BGS 9 Auto 10 grade is particularly impressive on such a scarce card because there are simply so few examples from which a collector could ever upgrade. It is an elite early Correa piece from the period when collectors were first beginning to imagine what the former first overall pick might become.
