2013 Ford Focus ST-2 Turbo, 1999cc. CAT D 2017. Registration number ST62 WJX. VIN number WFOKXXGCBKCY63242. Engine number CY63242.
Sold with the V5C, 2 x keys, MOT until October 2027.
The Fast Ford formula is alive and well in the Focus ST: everyday usability meets serious performance at an affordable price. Replacing the notoriously thirsty five-cylinder 2.5-litre turbo motor of its predecessor with a smaller 2.0-litre, four-cylinder EcoBoost engine hasn’t just improved economy and emissions (on paper, at least) but given performance a useful shot in the arm as well. And in this facelifted car, those strengths still remain.
There's an entertaining chassis beneath the ST, with eager steering and good balance. With 25bhp more power than its predecessor, the Focus ST sprints to 62mph in 6.5sec, the new 2-litre turbocharged engine develops 247bhp at 5500rpm. That’s complemented by a healthy 265lb ft of torque at just 2000rpm.
WJX has had 4 previous owners, it has been with our vendor, a retired motor mechanic, for 4 years, he bought it from a local owner. In 2017 it was declared a CAT D at some 47,000 miles. Fully repaired it has now covered 99,500 miles and passed its MOT every year. The car presents very well.
