About the winery: Château La Lagune is a 3rd Grand Cru Classé and located in Ludon, a village near Saint-Julien. A fun fact is that the château was designed by the same architect, Baron Victor Louis, as the Grand Theater of Bordeaux. Château La Lagune is the highest rated estate of the AOC Haut-Médoc from the 1855 classification. In total, there are only five AOC Haut-Médocs in the classification.
