Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande 2014 is a Pauillac with typical Cabernet Sauvignon character (65%) and unique, spicy accents derived from the relatively high proportion of Petit Verdot (6%) , supplemented by 7% Cabernet Franc and 22% Merlot. The wine has generous aromas, is almost opulent, the Merlot shows itself with power and honesty and a fresh character. After aeration, this Pauillac becomes rich and complex. On the palate material, with precise and stretched tannins of long range, which gives the whole a powerful dynamic. Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon perfectly show their complexity thanks to perfect maturity in this vintage. A great wine from Pauillac, perfectly balanced and with a serious ageing potential.
