2015 Chateau Pichon-Longueville au Baron de Pichon-Longueville - Pauillac 2ème Grand Cru Classé - 1 Bottle (0.75L)

The 2015 harvest was fantastic, under great conditions, with sweet berries, without overripening. All this was combined into one great Château Pichon Baron 2015. This year, the property opted for a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon and 23% Merlot, harvested between September 18 and October 9. Pichon Baron 2015, a Pauillac, is fruity, juicy, tasty (with clear aromas) and remarkably fresh at the same time. Like all great wines in a great vintage, it expresses its terroir particularly beautifully and is remarkably dense and concentrated. When swirling, you will discover an aromatic clarity dominated by blackberries, crème de cassis and fresh licorice. When entering the mouth, it is very refreshing with a nice acidity. On the tongue it is elegant, firm (taut but fine tannins) and at the same time beautifully creamy and coated.
