2016 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto 1st Bowman Blue Refractor Fernando Tatis Jr. /150 BGS 9.5 Auto 10
Before the home runs, highlight-reel defensive plays, and emergence as one of San Diego's biggest stars, Fernando Tatis Jr. appeared in Bowman Chrome as a teenager whose enormous potential was still largely a projection. That makes the 2016 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autograph one of the foundational cards of Tatis collecting, and this coveted Blue Refractor version reduces the population to only 150 copies. Bowman Chrome prospect autographs have become the hobby's preferred way of documenting baseball stars before their Major League arrival, and the classic Blue Refractor is among the brand's most recognizable parallels. A BGS 9.5 with a perfect 10 autograph gives this example exceptional presentation, but the deeper attraction is its place at the very beginning of Tatis' collecting story - an early signature from before baseball fans knew exactly how electrifying he could become.
