Making its debut in 2017, the McLaren 720S represented the latest stage in the British company's transformation from leading Formula 1 team to top-flight supercar manufacturer. "New 720S is a milestone for McLaren: ballistically quick, stable and approachable," declared Top Gear magazine. Beneath the sleek, aerodynamically efficient bodywork there was a new carbon-fibre chassis (enabling the use of dihedral doors) riding on active suspension developed from that of the preceding 650S. Blistering performance was delivered by the mid-mounted, 720PS (710bhp) M840T 4.0-litre engine: the twin-turbocharged V8 propelling the car from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 2.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 212mph (341km/h). Power reached the ground via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, while inside the cabin the driver would be greeted by a combination of modern and racing inspired elements trimmed in Alcantara and leather.
Finished in eye-popping Harissa Red metallic, this stunning McLaren 720S is presented in original condition throughout having covered a mere 5,530 kilometres from new in the hands of its sole owner. The car is equipped with the glass roof; full Carbon Package; 20" alloy wheels finished in black with red striping; carbon-ceramic brake discs; and red-painted brake callipers. This 720S also has an original sports exhaust. Trimmed in black with contrasting red stitching, the well appointed interior features carbon seats upholstered in a combination of black/red leather and Alcantara. The doors combine carbon-fibre with red leather; the dashboard is made of a combination of leather, Alcantara and carbon-fibre; and the carbon steering wheel is trimmed in leather. The tool kit and fire extinguisher are in the boot and the car is offered with a Dutch title.
