Il Chianti Classico Riserva "Villa Antinori" è uno dei più celebri rappresentanti della tradizione chiantigiana, splendida fusione di finezza e classicità. Vino storico per eccellenza, legato indissolubilmente alla storia della illustre denominazione toscana e a quella quasi millenaria dei suoi produttori, ovvero la famiglia Antinori. Il "Villa Antinori" nasce nel 1928, ergendosi da subito come punto di riferimento per la sua tipologia. Il connubio profondo tra uomo e terra d'origine ha mosso Pietro Antinori, primo vinattiere della famiglia nel 1385, e i suoi successori, a produrre vini che fossero testimonianza liquida del luogo. Dopo aver interrotto la produzione del Chianti per circa dieci anni, la famiglia Antinori ha deciso di donargli nuovo spolvero, riproponendolo sul mercato in concomitanza dell'apertura della nuova cantina situata nell'areale del Chianti Classico. Uvaggio formato in prevalenza da Sangiovese, con piccolo saldo di Cabernet Sauvignon, atto a donare al vino morbidezza e struttura. Affina in barrique di secondo e terzo passaggio, arricchendo il suo ventaglio aromatico con note tostate e dolci.
