Provenance: Cotton 20's sunbonnet sue quilt, all hand appliqued and hand quilted, with hand embroidered accents and an unusual concentric design. The hand quilting is superb, with hand quilting around and within the applique and in curlicue designs in the borders, all at 10 stitches to the inch. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same solid pink/dusty rose fabric used in the borders, and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of Montgomery County, Ohio.
