[ translate ]

**Originally Listed At $400**

West Africa, Ivory Coast, Baule people, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A wood panel with a relief carving of a nude, standing woman on a rectangular platform. She has thick legs with a small incision to indicate female genitalia, and her hands frame her belly button. Incised geometric motifs decorate her torso, and above are small downward pointed breasts.
