Lot includes 1 tablespoon and 1 cream or condiment ladle (5" L) with fiddle swell handles and tipt ends, stamped W.R. EVANS in cartouches for William R. Evans, working Cincinnati, OH 1844-? and Covington, KY prior to 1850 through at least 1860. 23 pieces are marked for Charles Asmann, working Cincinnati, OH 1854-? and Covington, KY prior to 1863 through at least 1878, including 1 tablespoon and 21 teaspoons plus 1 small condiment ladle, all with fiddle swell handles with tipt ends except for 1 fiddle tipt teaspoon. The condiment ladle and 3 teaspoons have incuse marks C. ASMANN, the others are marked C. ASMANN or CHAS. ASMANN in rectangles. 13.79 oz troy combined weight. Reference: Boultinghouse, Marquis.
