An Exceptional Russian Cabochon-Mounted Gilt Silver and Malachite Table Clock with Longines Movement, Moscow, 1908-1926 Marks to case: (delta-right-facing Kokoshnik-88), ЛK, (partially effaced), 925, (right-facing Kokoshnik) Marks to movement: LONGINES 5-1/4 x 6-3/4 x 3-1/4 inches (13.3 x 17.1 x 8.3 cm) The Longines clock is a gilt bar movement with 15 jewels and a lateral lever escarpment and blued steel moon hands. Condition Report: Overall good condition and presentation, with scattered small fleabites and flakes to edges and corners of malachite pieces, some oxidation to gilt metal elephant-form mounts, minor dulling, toning, and rubbing to gilding, refreshed in areas, especially to feet, and scattered surface scratches and abrasions to gilt silver, crack to clock face crystal, with all wear commensurate with age and use.
