A Baltimore Empire Maple Gate Leg Table, circa 1830 28-7/8 x 44-3/8 x 20-1/8 inches (73.3 x 112.6 x 51.1 cm) (closed) This gate leg table has a solid maple joined plank top with twisted and tapered turned legs and a broad curly maple apron. There is little decoration beyond the burl inlaid cartouches at the top of each leg.
