Harco Schutter (Dutch/American, 1864-1931) Bluebonnet Field, 1923 Oil on board 16 x 20 inches (40.6 x 50.8 cm) Signed and dated lower right: H Schutter / 1923 Harco Schutter immigrated to the United States from the Netherlands in 1879. After settling in San Antonio in 1915, he taught at the San Antonio Academy of Art and later in his own art school called Schutter's Art Academy.
