REVOLVER. Cal. 41 Colt. S# 9619. Mfg. 1878. Approx 166,000 1877 series revolvers were produced from 1877-1909. This nickel plated example is fit with a 5" bbl with ejector, acid etch COLT D.A. 41 panel, & 2-line Hartford address. Standard patent markings. Checkered hard rubber factory grips. CONDITION: Overall good. The metal surfaces retain 85% of the original nickel finish with portions that have flaked with a dark patina in the voids. The etc panel is very good, as are the other markings. The grips are sound, but otherwise sound. The mechanical timing is off. Bore has good rifling with light frosting.
