2nd-7thC Gandharan Hardstone Ring with Buddha Head. Certainly, it is from the classic period of Gandharan sculpture. It has an AMAZING face. The stone it is carved out of looks to be a hard stone that would have been difficult to carve and finish, especially with this very fine detail.- ( 1.25"H x 1.75"W x .625D ) - 20g.
