2pc Japanese Meiji Period Censers
Two beautiful incense burners. A small quad-footed covered bowl adorned with double fish handles, four phoenixes (one for each side), and hoofed beast as the handle of the lid. The other censer is larger and tri-footed on a round base; decorated with high reliefs of sparrows on blossomed branches, bamboo double handles, and a dragon seated on the lid. Censer 1: 6.75"L x 4.75"W x 7"H; weight: 3lbs 14.6oz. Censer 2: 9.75"L x 9.5"W x 19.25"H; weight: 9lbs 9.9oz.
