A pair of porcelain vessels featuring a matte, burlap-textured tapestry finish. The set includes a small jug with a pinched spout and loop handle, and a bud vase with an ovoid body and narrow neck. Both pieces are decorated with transfer-printed tavern scenes in the Cavalier style, depicting two men in 17th-century dress seated at a table with one playing a lute. The scenes are set against a sunset gradient background of yellow, orange, and grey-brown, featuring an architectural detail of a barred window. The rims and jug handle show traces of gold-colored accenting. A printed name DIXON is visible in the lower right corner of the artwork on the vase. The bases are plain white unglazed porcelain without factory marks.
