2pc Wedgwood Queensware Milky Way Pattern Cup and Plate Television Set, Circa 1955

This two-piece ceramic television set was produced by Wedgwood in the Milky Way pattern, circa 1955. The set is crafted from Queensware, a cream-colored earthenware. It includes a large circular snack plate with an integrated well designed to hold the matching teacup, allowing space for food on the side. The decoration consists of green transfer-printed designs featuring stylized figures such as celestial beings with star-decorated robes, alongside crowns. The figures are set against a subtle marbled cream ground. The base of the plate is marked in green with Milky Way above a circular stamp for Of Etruria / Wedgwood / & Barlaston / Made in England.
