This lot features 2 antique circus publications dating to 1929: a program for the 41st annual tour of "The Famous Gentry Bros Circus" and a Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Combined Circus "Magazine of Wonders Illustrated."

The Gentry Bros Circus program is notably dated August 12, 1929, just before the October stock market crash and the beginning of the Great Depression. The Gentry Bros Circus filed for bankruptcy the day before the 1929 crash, making this program a piece from one of its last performances.
