1st item: Buccellati .800 silver creamer, lobed footed form with bulbous bowl and C-scroll wood handle. Stamped on the base BUCCELLATI, ITALY, .800 with additional Italian hallmarks. 3 3/4" H. 1st half 20th century. 7.205 total troy ounces. 2nd item: Buccellati scrolled sterling silver shell dish, marked on the base side BUCCELLATI, MADE IN ITALY, .925. 1 3/4" H X 3 1/4" W. 20th century. 2.730 troy ounces. 3rd item: Italian Peruzzi .800 silver purse frame, pierced design with figural decoration including cherubs and swans. Interior stamped PERUZZI, SILVER, .800, FLORENCE. 4 3/4" W. Late 19th/Early 20th century. 4.740 troy ounces. 11.945 total .800 troy ounces. 2.730 total sterling troy ounces. Provenance: The collection of Gary Glesser of Loudon, Tennessee, by descent from his grandparents, Captain Hoyt and Rachel Holton of Toledo, Ohio. Hoyt Holton became, at age 17, the youngest captain of a Great Lakes Freighter. In the 1960s, Captain Holton participated in a 26-day Admiral Byrd Society trip replicating the explorer's famous transpolar expedition, during which he met the Pope and Soviet Premier Nikita Kruschev. Many items in the collection were brought back as souvenirs from that journey and other frequent voyages.
