(lot of 3) U.S. Civil War era Model 1858 leather cartridges boxes, in worn, torn and aged condition, each with U.S. oval brass plate, one plate with loss, each box with loss to leather including flaking, verdigris, tears, and missing section: (1) mfg. by Baker & McKenney, New York, retains two interior tins, interior leather pocket torn lacks outside closure flap; (1) mfg. by H.W. Oliver Co., Pittsburgh, Pa., retains one interior tin, outer flap with loss at lower left; (1) mfg. E. Gaylord, Chicopee, Mass., leather flaking, brass plate is held by interior string, retains two metal tins, four production asterisk marks, for shipping boxes are approx. 6.5" x 8" x 2.5", total of all 4.90lbs
