3 Victorian Tole Trays with Maritime Paintings
Three (3) graduated black lacquer tole trays with hand-painted maritime landscape scenes depicting a sailboat at shore with a figure preparing for or returning from a journey surrounded by green foliage and a mountain landscape in the background. The trays have serpentine edges with gilt foliate decoration. Ranging in size from 15" H x 18 1/2" W to 23" H x 29" W. 3rd quarter of the 19th Century.

Condition Report: All trays with expected wear commensurate with age and manner of use with craquelure and minor fleabite losses to imagery. Some oxidation to edges and loss to gilt paint.
