3 Walrus Bone Eagle Motif Letter Openers

Three walrus bone letter openers featuring stylized eagle motifs. The collection includes a three-dimensionally carved example with a textured eagle head handle and a mottled, cream-colored blade. The two remaining pieces are flat-carved in a tapered form, decorated with scrimshaw-style engraving. One flat opener features an engraved eagle head and feathers filled with black ink, inscribed Larry & Alison Hofstad. The second flat opener displays a similar eagle and feather design with blue and black ink fills, inscribed Alison & Larry Hofstad.
