3 Zsolnay Gilt Bronze Mounted Porcelain Jardinieres

Three (3) Zsolnay porcelain ormolu mounted cachepots or jardinieres. Includes one large oval centerpiece and two smaller round side urns, the white porcelain crackle glaze bodies all decorated with hand painted cranberry colored flowers, green foliage and gilt trim, mounted with a pierced and molded gilt bronze rim, handles with dragon or serpent heads, and base with four mask form feet. All include metal liners are stamped with blue Zsolnay "Five Churches and Family Initials" maker's marks to underside. Centerpiece with additional old paper number label to underside. Largest urn measures 16 1/4" H x 21" W x 11" D. Side urns measure 14 1/8" H x 14 3/8" W x 9 1/4" D. Hungarian, 1878-1880.

The collection of Dr. Andrew Wilkerson, by descent from the estate of Vernon and Vicki Meche, Iron City, Tennessee.
Condition Report: All pieces in overall very good condition with minor wear to surface of porcelain bases, crazing. Some scattered green oxidation to bronze mounts. Metal inserts with exfoliation of paint; one insert for urn missing one handle.
