3 glass plates. Paris 1926/27 3 glass plates, 8,2 x 10,2 cm, typed legends and number on paper strips pasted on the glass plates. Three glass plates of the exterior (2) and plan (1) of the house of Tristan Tzara in Paris. Tzara, born Samuel or Samy Rosenstock, also known as S. Samyro (1896-1963), was a Romanian and French avant-garde poet, essayist and performance artist. Tzara commissioned the Austrian and Czechoslovak architect Adolf Loos (1870-1933), influential European theorist, and a polemicist of modern architecture whom he had met in Zürich, to build him a house in Paris. The house was built in Montmartre and designed following the special requirements of Tzara, and decorated with samples of African art.
