Marking(s): One sword (black sheath) inscribed on blade "I belong to the warrior in whom the old ways have joined the new" and the sheath is inscribed with the Bushido (traditional code of Samurai), both of these inscriptions are featured in swords in Tom Cruise's "The Last Samurai" movie. All swords are marked on blade "stainless China", two also marked "440" on blade.

Cataloguer's Note: At least one of these swords is a mass-produced decorative replica inspired by the 2003 movie The Last Samurai, featuring the film's fictional warrior quote engraved on the 440 stainless steel blade.
