Daniel E. Greene (1934-2020) Monopoly Pieces Pastel on paper 39-1/4 x 59 inches (99.7 x 149.9 cm); sight Signed lower right: Daniel Greene "I was initially unfamiliar with Greene until we were renovating a facility in Stamford, Connecticut, and brought the work in to be reframed. The familiar Monopoly pieces caught my eye, and then drew me into the exquisite pastel craftsmanship which created such a deep, captivating play of light and dark. I then found that Mr. Greene was considered one of the foremost pastelists in the United States. Condition Report: A very few small areas of rubbing to the surface along lower edge. Otherwise, there appear to be no major condition issues affecting the work. Framed under acrylic; not examined out of frame due to size.
