the case with sarcophagus top and cast brass finial over ring side handles, and fish scale sounds frets on plinth base, to a cast brass bezel, enclosing a signed 8" convex dial and blued steel hands. The twin fusee movement with shouldered plates and engraved detail, anchor escapement, strike on a bell and pull repeat, 45cm high.

Condition
Case - glass detached but present, small split to back door, age related wear.
Dial - all over age related wear, chips and scratches.
Movement - appears complete, with pendulum, two door keys and winder.
Functional at the time of writing, but functionality is not guaranteed.
