An extensive collection of 34 authentic pre-war flat cardboard diorama figures is permanently secured onto slotted wooden advertising base blocks and features vibrant double-sided lithographed detailing. The diverse assembly ranges from approximately 2" to 3.5" H, or 5 cm to 9 cm, and spans multiple historical branches and civilian scenes. The military and political personnel include Sturmabteilung (SA) political officials in brown shirts, a saluting Nazi Party member, Kriegsmarine naval sailors in blue dress uniforms, Wehrmacht infantrymen marching with gear, a seated field soldier, and three mounted cavalry troopers on horseback. Specialized mobile units are highlighted by a military dispatch rider on a camouflage-painted motorcycle. The accompanying civilian and domestic figures include a baker or chef in a white apron carrying a platter, a woman in traditional German folk dress or dirndl, youth organization members, and an unmounted workhorse. The collection features crisp period ink-stamped store and merchant advertisements on the wooden bases, including "Rich. Furst Kirn, " "Hanel ist stadtbekannt, " "Dierdorf, Neuwied, " "Walter Mohr Ratzeburg, " "Conrad Meyer Hennef/Warthbrucke, " and "Bohmer Schuhe." The lot is in good to very good vintage condition overall, showing typical minor edge wear, handling scuffs, and age-toning to the cardstock edges.
