Already they show her dedication to her craft and her quickly growing confidence behind the camera. According to biographer Pamela Bannos, Maier was so insistent with her camera that some people in her family's French village thought she might be a spy, and she ended up being questioned by the police about her photography. Condition Report: Overall very good condition. Some sheets with surface scratching and soft creasing visible in raking light. Sheets have deckled edges. Verso of some sheets have discoloration. Sheets curl slightly as well. All sheets are loose, not framed. Heritage Auctions strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder.
