(4) Elastolin German Wehrmacht Signal Corps & Radio Station

Four Elastolin German Wehrmacht Signal Corps figures and radio station pieces form a specialized field communications group. The top row includes a kneeling radio operator speaking into a telephone handset with a brown field generator box and a dual-figure field radio station featuring a soldier logging data beside a seated telegraph operator wearing headphones at a camouflage-painted transmitter station. The radio station includes a metal wire antenna mast and an integrated hinged lid displaying a printed Morse code translation chart. The bottom row includes a prone scout map-reader plotting coordinates on an open battlefield map and a propped-up prone telephone operator holding a handset beside an open portable switchboard box. The prone telephone operator has a cracked leg and measures approximately 6 cm L. The Morse code ledger base measures approximately 7.5 cm x 4.5 cm. The antenna does not stay in place, and the Morse code function was not tested. Normal light wear from age and handling is present.
