FOUR CHINESE GILT LACQUERED BUDDHIST LION WALL HANGINGS
China, late Qing dynasty. Lacquered wood. The group consisting of four carved Buddhist lions with varying grimacing expressions. The lacquer coating is executed with layers of red and black lacquer and covered in an attractive gold lacquer. Metal hooks on the back that serve as mountings. With appraisal stamps from a Cantonese art inspector.

Condition: Good condition, minor expected wear to lacquer.'
