Native American / First Nations, Northwestern United States or Canada, Inuit culture, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A collection of 4 carved walrus figurines made from walrus ivory and bone. The 2 midsized carvings are signed with indiscernible signatures on the base, and one has acrylic tusks. The smallest is signed "AHS" for Archie Henry Slwooko, and the largest walrus is signed "Oseuk." Size of largest: 4.75" L x 1.5" W x 2.5" H (12.1 cm x 3.8 cm x 6.4 cm)

This is an ESA antique exempt piece of walrus ivory and cannot be sold internationally or to anyone residing in the states of California, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington.

Provenance: private Lumberton, Texas, USA collection, acquired before 2010
