Rockingham ware with mottled finish, stoneware preserve jar, and two small bowls, probably Shenandoah Valley. All are 19th century.
Dimensions are: Rockingham - 5 1/2 inches diameter X 4 inches high; jar - 3 7/8 inches diameter at widest point X 5 1/2 inches high; the two small bowls measure 4 inches and 4 1/8 inches in diameter X 1 3/4 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Sticky residue on outside of Rockingham. Unevenness to glaze and rough area around rim of jar, natural inclusions and firing pops in glaze of two small bowls. Small divot in one bowl, appears to be part of production; the other bowl has a small chip in the outer rim.
