Horse Armor Etched in the Italian Manner. Of typical form, very rare piece of armor protection for horse collar/throat area. Etched in the Italian style. Probably 19th century. Scrollwork present in every stage of the armor, with scenes down the middle depicting foot soldiers, scrollwork decorations highlighted with roped edges and round head studs.
