40034: Pair of British Percussion Pistols with Folding

Pair of British Percussion Pistols with Folding Bayonets. Approximately .50 calibers, 6 1/2-inch octagonal barrels. Top of barrel flats marked LONDON. Lockplates scroll-engraved and marked BUSHILL. Spring loaded folding snap bayonets top of barrels measuring 5-inches when sprung with curved upright trigger releases. Light scroll engraving to hammers, upper tangs, breech area and triggerguards. Finely checkered one-piece walnut grips with vacant oval shape escutcheons. A fish icon and fish scales design are on both hammers. Brass tipped wooden ramrods present. Overall length is pistols are 12-inches. Condition: Good to very good with a grey patina look overall, barrel with scattered pitting and signs of cleaning. Grips with handling wear, bumps, bruises and stress cracks. One bayonet slightly bent, making release a bit hard. Other metal features with signs of age wear and pitting. Mechanically sound.
