U.S. B. Flagg & Co. Percussion Saddle Ring Musketoon. Unserialized, .69 caliber, 26-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Lock marked: B. FLAGG & CO. / MILLBURY / MASS. / 1849 and (eagle) / U.S. V / P / (eagle head) proofs to top of barrel. Upper tang dated 1848. Saddle ring. Smooth walnut straight stock. U.S. stamped buttplate. Metal ramrod. Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Heavy dings, scuffs and bruising present to wood. W.R.
