C.S. Richmond 1862 Percussion Musket. Unserialized, .62 caliber, 39-inch barrel with fixed front sight and blank rear sight. Lock marked: 1862 and C.S. / RICHMOND, VA. Smooth walnut stock with three barrel bands, each marked with a U. Sling swivels and shoulder sling. Metal ramrod. Brass buttplate. Condition: Good. Finish primarily a mottled grey patina with noticeable areas of handling wear, age and pitting. Some dings and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
