Colt Model 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 13283 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Etched cylinder scene. COLT'S / PATENT to left side of frame. Brass gripstraps. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1852. Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Some wood loss to base of left corner.
