Colt Model 1860 Army Single Action Revolver. Serial no. 9180 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .44 caliber, 8-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Etched cylinder scene. COLT's / PATENT to left side of frame. Brass triggerguard. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. S inspector mark stamped to left side of barrel, cylinder, triggerguard and backstrap. Faint cartouche to left side of grip. Manufactured in 1861. Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting.
