40's Blue & White Wedgewood Applique Quilt

This cotton 40's blue and white quilt is hand appliqued and hand quilted, with hand embroidered accents and a scalloped edge. The pattern is known as simply "Wedgewood." It measures 76" X 80" and is in very good condition, with the occasional light age spot and no wear. There is quilting around the applique and in straight line, feathered, and dahlia, and pinwheel designs in the background, all at 5-6 stitches to the inch. The back is white, the binding is a "knife edge," and the batting is thin.
