A delightful and rare collection, finely painted, of representations of traditional costumes from Europe, America, Asia and North Africa that were meant to serve as a project for a series of chromos on the subject. These include Belgium, China, Egypt, Switzerland, Iraq, Japan, Norway, Paraguay, Persia, Russia, Ukraine, etc. On the back of each image, a pencil note indicates the origin of the painted costume.
