It is hard to get quality specimens of ruby, very rare to get good quality. This specimen is from the Famous Jegdalek mine in Afghanistan which is prized for its mysterious high quality rubies. They form in very similar ways to Burmese rubies, in metamorphic conditions, and are going up in value.

This specimen has beautiful appearance, and highly decorative, reddish purple pink ruby. The host rock is made of marble like material, also has a sprinkle of gorgeous golden brown phlogopite mica . Fully natural no glue no dye, 100% natural and uncleaned.
Beautiful terminated crystal points. Beautiful for any collector or investor, gemstone lover. In the future the mines will run out and even this type of quality today is hard to find
